Appirians James Eitzmann and Joe Krutulis teamed up to win the social networking category of the Force.com Hackathon last Wednesday evening during Dreamforce.

Their winning app consisted of a sites page that would allow you to add tweets to the #df09 tag while grabbing your geolocation from a web service using your IP address. The geolocation would then be appended that to the tweet. They also added a twitter widget that displayed the tweets and stored the tweets along with geolocation information in a custom object in SFDC.
